Reviving images from the Early Renaissance, Italian artist Davide Balliano creates a set of work that tell a different story; a shock to the system, a break of trust leaving its mark like a dog bite. The underlying current is a wound that stays long after the damage has been done. The book pages are a clear reminder of decay and scars from ages that have practically been erased from existence, now immortalized for an extended century with a fresh coat of new order.
